Who We Are

Vincent and Anne Foundation is a core charitable organisation. We are established to be a voice for the voiceless and most importantly a bridge between the less-fortunate and the compassionate individual, institution and partners across the globe. 
 We work to ease individual suffering while also supporting pathways to recovery and self reliance with dignity.
   Our existence is driven by a deep conviction and a believe that displacement and hardship must never be overlooked. 
   For a long period, I watched, listerned and lived among people devastated by displacement and hardship, families driven from their homes by insurgents, and bandits.   What I saw pierced my soul: little girls forced into child labour and prostitution for survival, young boys robbed of education and thrown into street life, mothers with infants going for days without food, and entire families stripped of shelter, safety and dignity. I saw poverty in it's cruelest form.
   In the face of all these, I could not remain indifferent.  VINCENT and ANNE FOUNDATION is my response, a humble effort to bring hope, food, clothing, shelter and support to these ones. 
 At first, I gave what I had from my pocket, but soon, I realized the task was far too great for one person alone. The needs were growing by the day and I was just one voice. I founded Vincent and Anne Foundation to help actualize my dream of assisting were there is dire need, where violence have taken stability, we seek to restore hope, where fear, insecurity and uncertaintity have gripped the people, we raise awareness and advocate support and justice.
   Vincent and Anne Foundation serves the displaced in society, individuals and families whose lives have been shattered by insurgency, banditry, communal violence and extreme poverty.  We stand with those maimed and stripped of their means of livelihood. We serve the children whose education has been abruptly cut short, widows, vulnerable women struggling to survive in unfamiliar and an unsafe condition, and also with men who once provided for their families, but now face uncertainty and despair.
 These are not just people in critical condition, they are human beings, deserving of a life. 
  We call on all and sundry to come together and show compassion, give hope and restore dignity.

Our Founder

Founder & President

Mr.Vincent Essien is the founder of the *Vincent and Anne Foundation* —a man whose life is guided by compassion, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility to others. Known for his gentle spirit and unwavering empathy, he gives not for recognition, but from a sincere desire to uplift lives and restore hope.
A beautiful giver at heart, Vincent Essien believes that true impact is measured by the smiles we restore and the burdens we help lift. His selflessness shows in the quiet consistency with which he serves, standing with the vulnerable and extending kindness where it is needed most.
Through his leadership, the foundation reflects his values—love in action, service with dignity, and generosity without conditions. Mr. Essien’s life is a reminder that compassion, when lived daily, can truly change the world.
His work is shaped by the firsthand encounters with the suffering of displaced families across Nigeria-particularly nursing mothers, pregnant women and children whose lives have been upended by insurgency, banditry and prolonged insecurity.
Disturbed by the quiet devastation faced by these vulnerable population, Mr Vincent felt compelled to act, not out of charity alone, but from a conviction that dignity, care, and opportunities should never be denied the casualties of conflict.
What began as a personal effort to offer relief and support to the helpless soon revealed a far greater reality. - the scale of need was immense, systemic and demanding more than an individual goodwill could solve.
Recognizing this, Mr Vincent established this foundation as a structured and mission driven organisation--one capable of mobilizing collective compassion, channeling resources responsibly and creating sustainable impact.

Co-Founder

Ms Anne Omai is a passionate educator and a humanitarian, whose deep compassion for vulnerable families and children led her to co-found *Vincent and Anne Foundation* . A dedicated teacher by profession, Anne has spent years nuturing young minds. In the course of her work, she has encountered  silent struggle many children face from poverty to displacement, and the toll it takes on their innocent dreams. Her heart for the down trodden, inspired her to take action beyond the classroom. 
She believes that every child deserves not just an education, but love, stability and the basic dignity of life. These believe became her driving force to partner in establishing this foundation. She brings to the foundation, not only her educational experience, but also a nuturing disposition, a deep sense of empathy, and a tireless commitment to restoring hope in places where it seemed lost.
